Rockmart offers a wide range of office furniture that can be configured in numerous combinations with features and accessories. The vast amount of possible combinations made it challenging to showcase online. Also, Rockmart has some other domains that they might want to connect as well with the configurator.

Therefore they were looking for a solution where you can integrate the configurator from one catalogue to multiple web domains.

Solution

Scalable solution to integrate the full catalog in one overview

In collaboration with Expivi, Rockmart implemented 3D visual product configurators for their office desks, accessories, and office chairs. This offers users a perfect guide to configure a complete working place to their needs. The configurator features multiple desk series, sizes, materials, loads of accessories, chairs, etc. When a configuration is finished, customers can easily add the complete configuration to the shopping cart and order.

Moreover, Rockmart was looking for a solution to manage multiple domains from a single configurator catalog. This is to prevent extra manual work. The Expivi configurator integrates seamlessly with the Magento 2 front-end of Rockmart, as well as with Ergonice, which operates on a different platform. From the backend of Expivi, it’s possible to manage the catalog for both of the domains at once.
