For over 40 years, the name EDER has been synonymous with high-quality, technically innovative, and practical solutions in trailers and vehicles for car transport. These are known and used throughout Europe under the names ALGEMA and FIT-ZEL. Every year hundreds of vehicles and over 1000 Trailers are produced in the modern assembly plants of Eder.

EDER offers a wide range of vehicles that can be configured in numerous combinations with features and accessories. The many possible combinations made it challenging to showcase online and retrieve proper quotation requests from clients.

Optimized customer experience and reduced sales cycle

In close collaboration with Expivi, EDER implemented multiple extensive 3D visual product configurators for their vehicles and trailers. This offers users a perfect guide to configure a vehicle to their needs. The configurator features multiple models, sizes, and options and is enhanced with animations to explain the vehicle’s unique features and possibilities.

When a configuration is finished a quote can easily be requested smoothening and speeding up the quotation process.

After the implementation of the 3D configurator, there is no need anymore for printed catalogs, numerous product images, and multiple meetings with prospects. Users can freely create their own bespoke vehicle, which is also technically correct as the configurator manages all business logic.
